Excel Self Storage has occupied Firth Mill a five-story Yorkshire stone building beside the Huddersfield Canal since 2010 and is the secure heart of Huddersfield. Firth's Mill at Stoney Battery Road, Huddersfield, was built as a steam-powered woollen mill in 1865-1866, featuring a five-storey structure with fireproof construction, later expanded by cotton spinners in the late 1880s with weaving sheds. A true piece of this great towns history.

Take Manchester Road from the town centre towards Oldham (A62). Keep straight through the Blackmoorfoot Road lights, continue for 400 yards, then turn right onto Stoney Battery Road. We’re on the right with ample parking and level access for vans.
